Key word being “prepped†for example, just like when painting anything you want to assure the surface is nice and rough so the paint can adhere to the surface. This is a very important step in painting. Here at BathArt we still use an acid wash which allows us to etch the surface to the maximum and gives us the most adhesion possible. We also take it 1 step forward and use a self-etching primer followed by our polymer top coating system.
